The “OLI-NATURA hard wax oil” for treating wood indoors combines the best properties of wax and oil. While the oil penetrates the wood and protects it from the inside, the wax forms a robust and water-repellent surface film.
The film-forming impregnation was awarded the “Allergy Sufferer-Friendly Quality Tested” quality seal by the European Foundation for Allergy Research (ECARF). In addition, the hard wax oil received LFGB certification (food-safe) from an independent testing laboratory, which is why it can be safely used on wooden surfaces that come into contact with food.
The hard wax oil is recommended for almost all wood projects, but also for cork, bamboo, OSB and multiplex boards. It is one of Ole & Wachse's best-selling oils and is used throughout furniture and wood interior work as well as in camper interiors. Whether for wooden or frame furniture, tables, wall paneling, doors, parquet floors or stairs.
The hard wax oil shows a subtle depth of color on the wood and the processing is simple: apply the oil thinly with a ball, cotton cloth, brush, roller or sponge, let it absorb briefly and remove any excess. The hard wax oil creates an even and silky-glossy surface. For a more matt look, the wet hard wax oil is simply polished out using a polishing pad. The solid content is 60%, which is why a one-time application is completely sufficient for wooden objects subject to normal wear and tear. Floors, stairs or table tops, however, require more protection. A second coating is recommended for these.
