Our Customers Love

The AW200BDS is a powerful combined 100mm belt and 200mm disc sander. The belt and the disc are driven directly from the motor spindle. As a consequence the machine is much quieter, there are no fiddly drive belts to worry about and does not suffer from a loss of power caused by a drive belt. Both functions feature cast worktables, which pivot from 0° to 45°. A mitre fence is supplied for bevel and compound angle sanding.

The belt sanding platen can be used vertically or horizontally or anywhere in between. The machine has a 63mm extraction outlet. A powered fan in the dust outlet port helps produce an airflow around both the belt and disc. When connected to a suitable vacuum extractor almost 100% dust extraction can be achieved. The main body is cast iron, which absorbs vibration and has locating holes with rubber grommets for securing this sander to a workbench.

The AW200BDS is supplied with a belt and a self stick disc. There is a wide selection of abrasive belts and discs available.

Tip: to help remove a worn self adhesive disc; warm it with a heat gun or hair dryer to soften the adhesive.

Please note these machines are designed and manufactured for sanding wood and similar materials and should not be used to abrade or grind metal.
