Kirschen chisels are a fine example of a time when chisel makers took care to ensure that the handle was matched to the blade width.
The blades are fully polished front and back and produced from Kirschen's own high carbon steel.

Safety
- Always carve away from you with hand behind the cutting edge.
- Ensure wood is secured in clamp or vice.
- Wear sensible shoes in case a tool is dropped and never try to catch one if you do.
