Features:

Made in Japan by Ohishi.
This Stone has 3000 grit on one side and 8000 on the flip side.
Lie-Nielsen describes them as the best waterstones they have found.
The stones are 75mm wide which is particularly useful when honing chisels and plane blades.
They cut quickly and easily but are dense and hard, a sprinkle of water is all you need to get to work for the stone.
The 3,000 grit will establish your secondary bevel and the 8,000 grit will give a polished razor-sharp edge.
