If space is tight or you are out on site, the Sjobergs Smart Workstation Pro is a brilliant workholding solution. You can clamp it to a table, worktop or any firm surface. The Smart Workstation Pro offers many of the benefits you would have with a full size workbench but in a portable and space saving package. It is ideal for woodworking, woodcarving and workholding in general.
Build quality is exceptional, with knot-free European beech used throughout. It has a 400 x 360 x 41mm thick solid worktop. The 400mm wide vice opens to 115mm. The vice, the 4 bench dogs and a double row of dog holes solve many work holding challenges. The spring-loaded bench dogs can accommodate curved objects. The maximum width of board you can grip between the dogs is 480mm. The vice is the same model used by Sjobergs on many of their full size benches. It has a solid steel screw thread and twin guide bars. The Smart Workstation Pro will accept other Sjobergs accessories. There are holes pre-drilled through the feet for fixing the Workstation Pro permanently in place.
Self-assembly, so a Torx T20 screwdriver will come in handy (not included). Tip: although pre-drilled, rubbing the screw threads with a candle makes screwdriving easier.
The feet also feature 20mm holes on 288mm centres, and coincidently these align perfectly with the holes of a multifunction workbench. By carefully assembling the Smart Workstation Pro, you can also get the front and back feet to line up. Once done you can drop the Smart Workstation Pro onto 4 Parf dogs or UJK Technology Parf Super dogs, adding yet another option to your multifunction workbench.
